Trout Portrait

A gator trout came up out of the Laguna Madre with its mouth already open. It was held boat-side only as long as respect for the fish allows, then released seconds later.

The LAGUNA Collector Promise

Buying art online should feel as safe as buying it in a gallery.

1. See it on your wall first

Send us a photo of your wall through the contact page. Andrés replies with the print shown on it, at true size, before you decide.

2. Love it, or exchange it

Within 30 days of delivery, send it back in its original packaging and choose another image in the same size. One exchange per order, and we cover return shipping up to $40.

3. Arrives perfect, or replaced free

If it is damaged in transit, send us photos within 7 days of delivery. A new print is made and shipped to you at no cost.

Choosing a size

Each image is offered only up to the size its original file supports at full quality. That is why some images come in fewer sizes. The Gallery size fits over a sofa, a bed, or a fireplace.

Each size has its own numbered edition, and the largest is the rarest. When a size sells out, it is never printed again.

What is a photo print under acrylic glass?

The photograph is printed on photographic paper and sealed between clear acrylic glass and a rigid aluminum backing. This deepens the color and gives the water in these images real depth. WhiteWall, a professional photo lab, makes each print to order.

What does "limited edition" mean here?

Each size of each image has a fixed number of prints: 15 Studio and 7 Gallery. Trout Portrait is rarer: 6 Studio, 3 Gallery and a single Collector print, 10 in all. Lone Buck is offered in the Studio size only. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Andrés, with its edition number, for example 2/7. When a size sells out, it is never printed for sale again.

How long does delivery take?

Each print is made to order by WhiteWall and shipped directly to you, ready to hang. Plan on about 2 weeks from order to your door. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and you receive tracking when it ships. Ordering a gift? Order by December 5 for Christmas delivery.

How does the 30-day exchange work?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery. Pack the print in its original box and send it back; we cover return shipping up to $40. Once it arrives in its original condition, choose another image in the same size and we make it for you. One exchange per order.

What if it arrives damaged?

Accept the delivery, take photos of the box and the print, and send them to us within 7 days. Keep the packaging. A new print is made and shipped to you free.
